Have you always felt uncomfortable when speaking to people, giving presentations or just raising your hand to ask a question?

Have you been told you are too quiet and not outgoing enough to affirm yourself in life? Or have you ever felt illegitimate for a certain position or situation?

Despite all of that, have you ever imagined or dreamed you could lead a meeting with confidence, be seen as the most interesting and pleasant person in the room and have people admire your ability to create intriguing and entertaining stories?

If you have ever been in these deep thoughts, just know you are not alone.

I used to be in the same situation, when I would always wonder why some people could speak so naturally, be so convincing, funny and admired by others.

Obsessively, I asked myself so many times how I could become better at communicating with others. I was thinking that I had never learnt these skills at school, so why did these guys feel so comfortable and so cool? When did they learn these skills? Where? How?

These questions started torturing me.

I became ashamed of my inability to master these skills, terrified to socialize and speak in public.

Being unable to overcome these obstacles and to improve these skills felt exhausting. Worse, it was even more exhausting to think and believe I could ever become better at all.

Until the day I decided to say STOP! Enough is enough!

I had always thought that this ability to be confident, speak in public, socialize and be in full control of your life was only reserved to a few who had inherited great genetics. Or the lucky ones who grew up in a family of laid-back and charismatic parents.

But I was wrong. SO WRONG.

After more than 30 years spent in high school, university and working for multiple companies, I started to realize that there was a way out of my problems.

I had just discovered the concept of PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT and SELF GROWTH.

And just like that, my life changed completely.

It became really clear that I didn’t need to go to school to learn how to become more confident and be more in control of my life.

I just needed to find the right resources and the right people who could help me grow and improve my skills along the way.

Growing and improving myself has become quite an addiction: I acquire and put new knowledge into practice every single day. The ultimate goal is to transfer this experience to people who go through the same traumas as I have, especially when it comes to breaking out of your shell, interacting with the world in various settings and ultimately having to speak in public.

So, tell me: Why do you need to become more confident? Is it a personal choice or something that others expect from you, at work or around you? Do you also need to do public speaking, maybe to get a raise, share a message and a passion or just because you want to master an essential skill?

I have asked myself these exact same questions before, and have dedicated all my energy to create a vision for myself that I would never feel scared again of going out in the world and share my message.

If you are ready to work on yourself, fine tune the way you think and act, and truly want to improve your soft skills and public speaking, let’s go ahead and start treading the path leading to comfort, confidence and charisma.
